How Do I Delete a Role I No Longer Need?
While the document is still in Draft status, you are able to delete the role you no longer need without having to delete the entire document and re-create one afresh, greatly enhancing your efficiency and productivity. Here are the steps:
Deleting a Role
If you have left the document already and it is still in the Draft status, follow this:
Step 1: Click Documents on the left sidebar of your dashboard and choose Draft from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Locate the targeted document and click its name to proceed. You can also click More to choose Edit from the drop-down list.
Step 3: Confirm the document you have uploaded, and click Next to the second step Add Recipients.
Step 4: Hover over the recipient you want to delete, and click the red X mark.
Step 5: Then proceed with the last two steps to finalize the document.
While if you are still in the middle of your document and remain in the third stage Add Fields, follow this:
Step 1: Click the Edit Signers button on the right sidebar of your screen to take you back to the Add Recipients page.
Step 2: Hover over the recipient to be deleted. Click the red sign (X) and Voila! The role will be erased.
Then, proceed to review your signature request and send it out to your recipients.
