Create and Manage Folders
File management can be difficult without folders to keep all your files organized. CocoSign allows users to create and manage folders and subfolders at will. They can help you categorize the files and make document searching much easier. Now we will walk you through how to create and manage them step-by-step.
How to Create a Folder
Step 1: Click the+ icon beside Folder to create a new folder.
Step 2: Enter a name for the new folder.
Step 3: Click Create.
How to Create a Subfolder
Step 1: Click the “menu” icon next to the folder and choose New Subfolder from the drop-down list.
Step 2: Enter a name for the subfolder. Once done, hit Create.
How to Move a Folder
You can move a folder into a subfolder and change a subfolder to a regular folder.
To move a folder into a subfolder
Step 1: Click the menu icon beside the folder you wish to move, and select Move to.
Step 2: Choose a folder from the list of Folders.
Step 3: Click Move and it’s done.
To change a subfolder to a regular folder
Step 1: Click the “menu” icon next to the subfolder, and select Move to.
Step 2: Choose Folders in the pop-up window.
Step 3: Hit the Move button and the subfolder will become an independent folder now.
How to Rename a Folder/Subfolder
Step 1: Click the menu icon next to the folder or subfolder, and select Rename.
Step 2: Enter a new name for the folder or subfolder, and then hit the Save button.
How to Delete a Folder/Subfolder
Step 1: Use the menu icon next to the folder or subfolder to select Delete.
Step 2: Hit the Delete button to delete your folder/subfolder permanently.
